Zanze’s Cheescake, San Francisco, CA
Very lovable cheesecake that is a favorite of many foodies I know. I really like what I have tasted. It was very light and fluffy compare to typical New York style ones. It reminded me a lot of the Japanese cotton like cheesecake that I once loved as a child. Just a tiny little denser and richer. If that is your kind of cheesecake, reserve one already. High-res

Iced Coffee Baked Cheesecake

Andersen Bakery, Japantown, San Francisco, CA

One of the many Andersen Bakeries in the Bay Area, this particular Japantown location offers similar European style pastries and breads with their signature Japanese twist - rational (small) portion size and less sugary recipes.

I am surprised to find only a limited pasty selection in an early Saturday afternoon. Perhaps they were sold out? I was quite disappointed they did not have any strawberry shortcakes or chocolate cakes. Settled with a slice of their baked cheesecake. It was decent but not very exciting.

This store is small but there are a handful of tables and chairs around. Doesn’t seem to get too busy but do come here early for a better selection of baked goods.
